Any user — donor, community member, or verified partner — can report a campaign using the 'Report' button on any campaign page. Reports can be submitted anonymously. All reports are taken seriously and none are dismissed without investigation.

The moment a fraud report is assessed as credible, the campaign is immediately paused. No further donations are accepted. The campaign creator is notified and given a formal opportunity to respond and provide evidence of legitimacy.

Our verification team re-verifies all submitted documents, contacts the campaign creator, speaks with the verifying doctor or organisation, cross-references identity data, and reviews all campaign updates and communications.

If the campaign is legitimate, it is reinstated with a verified badge. If fraud is confirmed, the campaign is permanently removed, the creator's account is banned, and legal action may be pursued under Bangladesh law.

- Cases where the donor was also involved in the fraudulent activity
- Cases where fraud cannot be conclusively proven after full investigation
How we stop fraud before it happens

NID verification
Every campaign creator must verify their national identity card before any campaign goes live. Anonymous or fake identities cannot create campaigns.
Document validation
Medical records, hospital letters, financial assessments — all documents are reviewed by our admin team before approval. Forged documents are flagged and rejected.
Doctor sign-off
For all medical campaigns, an independent licensed doctor must verify the case before it goes live. This is unique to Favorneed in Bangladesh.
Near-me community checks
Campaigns are visible to people in the same location. Neighbours and community members can personally verify a case and flag anything suspicious.
Admin moderation panel
